Quite something indeed. It would seem that Pentax has put the support for tethering into the bodies without telling us :-)

I'm not surprised that they managed to adapt the tethering support in the firmware from older models to the newer ones. But now that we have confirmation it is all the more puzzling that they haven't released the corresponding PC software yet.

sorry for doublepost havent seen it
im in contact with the programmer and tried out a version for the K-5 and it works, it isnt fully working but looks very promising. I am able to take pictures and safe it and also to change some settings.
