Excellent manual focusing exercises

Godfrey, one of the long time contributors to the DPReview pentax forum, has written up an excellent set of manual focusing exercises that will give you much greater skill in manually focusing, without using such aids as split ring focus screens etc. His post can be found here:

out of my 12 lenses i have only the kit lens that's AF. i put the camera down for around 18 years and missed the whole AF era. manual focus doesn't bother me at all. i was shooting with will,WBMP, and he asked how many shots i missed manually focusing.. my reply was about as many as he misses waiting for the AF to hit.. it is a very informative exercise on how to master a technique that has been lost by many..
