Three with my new Sigma 150-500 at really late dusk resulting in ISO12800 in three of the shots. Also add to it that the lifebuoy pic is pushed a bit. NR in Lightroom 3.

Iso 5000

K-x + Super Takumar 50/1.4 @ ISO5000

Completely an accident, would not normally use ISO5000 but this was a pleasant surprise.

Just to show you guys how much we've come forward in terms of technique, here's a K10D @ ISO1600 (which is MAX, if someone didn't know...) No noise reduction, no sharpening, just played a bit with the saturation adn stuff...

Not too bad if you don't have to push it.....

That's a nice sample! The K10 is bashed for it's higher ISO abilities but if you look at reviews of the camera when it first came out, it would always mention how nicely it does at higher ISO's. I have no problems shooting at ISO640, in fact, the majority of my most recent images from a K10D have been at ISO640 or higher.

K10D + Pentax A 100/2.8 @ ISO1250

Yes, my only rant is that it won't go higher than 1600. That limits handheld opportunities quite a bit and as said if it has to be pushed the noise quickly becomes a bit of a problem. However if 1600 is sufficient for normal exposure the noise is actually quite pleasing to my liking.

KX at ISO 8000

K200D at ISO 1600 (not bad for a camera that's supposed to be bad at low light)

i now have a K-30 as back up for my (ailing) K5

Here are a couple of high-ish ISO shots- 1250 and 3200. Haven't gone to 10000 with the K30 yet

K7 (at ISO1600, 0.6sec) with RMC Tokina II 28/2.8 (at 5.6)

Note: I had to steady my shot leaning up a tree. So I had no free hand to shade the flaring street lamp. Hmm.
A K5 could have delivered a shot at 1:15sec (..which would have had me leaning up the tree too).2XHmm.
