Is my K7 'Info' button unsealed?

I just got my K7 today and I noticed that when the rear LCD is lighted, I can see light from the LCD escaping from around the edges of 'Info' button (between the button and the body). This seems to indicate that this button isn't sealed. Do any other K7 owners have this same 'feature'?

This issue has been covered in other forums before.

The K-7 appears to be using clear silicone rubber for sealing the back of the buttons.
Its a common water/dust resistant sealing material in the electronics industry.

If you use a mobile phone with a lighted keypad, the back of the buttons are usually sealed with the same material.

Hi kittykat46,

An old thread, but here goes! Can you please provide a link to this thread (as I can't find one anywhere on the 'net)? I have the same "issue" with my K5...

Regards,

Dave

interesting, mine doesn't. its completely blacked out. no light leakage.
if there was it would be easier to find the info button during night or in the dark shooting session to turn off the LCD screen, rather than using my hand to reflect light for it to find where it is.
