Large K-X gallery on Flickr

Flickr: cazuki.mbdb's Photostream

A good selection of different ISO sensitivities
but, like most other k-x photos to date, none seem to have real detail to them....
(and is it just me or does iso 800 seem noisy in these?)

I dunno, but the guy has labelled himself a 'pro'....so there is hope for me yet!

All kit lens images, most wide open, his pre K-X collection is not too interesting too, IMHO.
It's hard to judge high ISO performance from these, but ISO 800 looks ok, although not spectacular.

I wonder how this guy gets his hands on an early K-X.

I think we'll just have to wait for some images from more dedicated users

Are you looking at the "pro" label next to his name? That just means he has a "pro" flickr account that is not limited to 200 pics like the free accounts.

While many of these are shot wide open with the kit lens, I think that's a realistic low light test for much of the target audience of this camera. With the increased noise reduction, maybe Pentax is trying to complete with the lower-noise/lower-detail jpegs produced by Canon and Nikon. To the novice, looking at a noisier yet more detailed jpeg will look inferior to ones output by Canon on Nikon.

Theres an iso 3200 in there. The one with the 2 lanterns w/ japanese character (size 4288x2488). It looks quiet good to me.

Yeah that image at full size looks pretty good. Alittle too smeared - hopefully we get the option of setting NR levels, still very nice for a first iso 3200 sample.

Hows that compared to the iso at 3200 of K7? Which do you think is better?
