K200D or K10D? which one I should keep?

I have a K200D for 1 year. Recently, I got a K10D too.
Both are in excellent condition.

But I just want to keep one.

Which one I should keep then?

Their CCDs are the same. K200D is a little bit smaller, but the operation is better for K10D.

I have no idea. Please help me to decide. Thanks! :ugh:

how soon do you need to make the decision? If there is no big deadline, I'd shoot for a while with both until I found a clear favorite.

Tough choice. I own the K200 and have never used the K10D, but they are obviously similar cameras. I love the size of the K200D--that counts for something to me. K10 of course has some extra features that the K200 doesn't have. Depending on what may come out to replace the K200, the K200 could end up as a classic affordable weather-sealed camera, in a small form factor, with an excellent sensor and outstanding IQ. The K10 is by all accounts a great camera, but by now has been replaced by the K20 (and now, the K7), and in certain ways by the K200.

Do you think you gain enough by the extra dials and better viewfinder on the K10 to choose that over the K200? Does the form factor matter to you? In the end, only you can weigh all the factors, but when I was deciding between the K10 and K200 a year ago, I chose the K200 and have been extremely happy with it. I doubt I'll ever sell it.

bigger buffer, more customization, ability to hack firmware to adjust for front/back focusing lenses, longer battery life... gotta give the nod to the k10d.

I have a 1.14x eyecup piece. Which means, the K10D viewfinder might make me more happier to look through it. I think that will be important for me. (Since I am wearing glasses )

I am a Man, I do not care about the extra 100g for weight.

Anyway, let me try both for a while.

Thank you for all the suggestions!

K200D might prove to have a better resale value in the end as it is a much newer camera than the K10D.
As for you too, if ever you bought both camera's new, I'm sure you have racked more shutter counts on the K10D more than the K200D..which means the K200D would last more than the K10D.
These are what I see more of on comparing the two.

I rather would not look at resale value nor the shutter count.
What do *you* like about both cameras that you would rather not do without? This is a better measure of the value of the cameras *to you*.
For me, the dual e-dials, better customisation, more reliable Li-ion battery power, faster performance shooting continuously or at quick succession (a big plus for me capturing precious moments) all add up to the K10D being the winner.
