This is a pretty good deal. I paid 450 for my K-m this summer and I thought that was reasonable for a few months. How much lower can it go?

Not much for now... I'd imagine we'll see it at $450 by the summer, though.

Actually the price comes up at $499.99 in your cart... And I paid $515 for a black body-only on Black Friday.

Sweet deal for the K-X no less. hmm. $150-200 more for a Canadian K-X after taxes and all is not looking good for Pentax Canada right now haha.

Wow what a deal...I was mad since I ordered the black one (i Think classy black wins for me) on December 4th from Amazon on sale for 549.00 withe the Kit lens. So I called Amazon and they honored the new sale price with the instant $50.00 and credited my account! Life is good!

Don't think so... black one is no longer at that price, and the $50 coupon is only on the white and red, afaik.

edit: Correction... IS at that price, but coupon does not work for black.

FYI, I emailed Amazon about applying the coupon to an exisiting order (as someone on slickdeals did successful), but I guess once it is "complete" they can't apply any coupons. So if anyone has a pending order that hasn't gone into the shipping/complete process yet, you might be able to save $50 by emailing Amazon and asking them to apply the coupon code.

Not that I am complaining; $668 for the K-x with 18-55 and 55-300 isn't too shabby.
