K-7 Noise Reduction settings effect Raw Image?

Can anyone else confirm that custom option 19 'High-ISO Noise reduction' will only have an effect on JPG's and not raw files.

That is my understanding. The NR setting does not change the RAW file. I wish there is an option like that.

P.S: K-7 RAW files have NR beyond a certain iso, and I think it is at 3200 or above 1600, but it is not under the users control.

The NR setting does not affect the RAW file directly, but it affects the small embedded JPEG file.
Some RAW converters use the embedded JPEG file settings as the default starting point when it loads and interpretes the RAW file e.g. SilkypixPRO.
If you convert and save it to a JPEG or TIFF file at default, that will be the NR setting used.
You are, of course, free to change the settings before you save the file.
