Now This K-X is bizzare!

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but...

This looks like a factory issue Pentax K-X. If it is, the good folks at the factory must have had a good time building this special issue:

Pentax Korejanai Robot Model K-x DSLR (12 Mg) - eBay (item 200463012464 end time Apr-25-10 17:51:31 PDT)

I especially like the "Sharpie" marks on the body. I'd personally wouldn't be caught dead with this in my hands, but I applaud Pentax for having a sense of humor!

There is very little to say about that...

Very few of these are made. This, unlike other limited editions, may become worth something in future. Seriously.

At least no one will ever try to steal it.

It looks like a Lego project.

Does that mean if someone does try to take it from you
you shout "Lego my camera"?

Old news. This special limited edition version was launched awhile back and all were snapped up by collectors or people with an eye to make a quick buck pretty quickly.
Even my Japanese client who was a long time Pentax user could not get one when it first came out.

And somebody bid on it.

If somebody really wants a camera that looks like this send me the camera + $1000 and I will happily paint it this way for them. Heck, there is a pretty decent art program at my school, I could probably get this treatment done for free!

This would help you blend in if you were shooting street photography in Legoland or lived in Oompa Loompaland.

It just makes me want to take it apart and see if it'll assembly itself again somehow.

For now, I think I'll stick with my classy and much cheaper black version. thank you very much.
