@Vertex Ninja - I like both the Mazda 2 and its cousin the Ford Fiesta. Either could be a candidate to replace my Escort eventually.

Something a little rarer and further upmarket:

Went to a wedding on Saturday where my son was a ring bearer and my wife a bridesmaid. I thought my son looked handsome in his first suit. Funny little guy... loves to ham it up, but will never look at the camera!

All MZ-S, 43mm Limited, Legacy Pro 400@200 in 2-bath Pyrocat MC. Duo-toned and vignette added in Lightroom. The light was very high contrast, but I think the developer handled it pretty decently, all things considered.

Family snaps:

This shot has a special feel, Javier. The grain makes you think "vintage", and I like that the guy is heading towards the left side ... uncertainty.

Beautifull tones and contrast handling. I like the first, third and the last two.

An experiment. I shot this fuji superia 400 at 800 speed to underexpose it a tad and to get a faster shutter speed with a little grittier look about it. I can't say it worked, but the film seems to be very forgiving.
Anyway, me super, superia 400 shot at 800 speed and m50f/1.4

Very interesting shot Javier. What happened to the left side of the frame? Or was that your first shot after loading the film?

I quite like car photos with film, and that higher speed colour looks pretty nice to me. At this stage I haven't done anything in colour that's faster than 400.

Nice photos and I like the tones!

Here's a colour shot from me:
Pentax MX, M50 f/1.4, Ektar 100

So it seems that my reward for going on vacation is being able to stroll through 4 or 5 pages of great film shots tonight. Nice job guys!

There are a few shots I've been meaning to post for a while and this evening seems like a good time to do it.

Went on a hike with my dad in late April and brought the SuperProgram with. Don't have much to show for the outing photographically, but really enjoyed the time I got to spend with my father. The jury is still out in terms of how I feel about the physical exercise <g>.

SuperProgram, M50 f2, Ultramax 400

This area of the trail was called the Tinker's Midden and it featured lots of the detritus of civilized life...

Finished the roll of Ultramax about the same time Dad and I hit the wall, figuratively and literally. Loaded a roll of Reala and shot the next two.

SuperProgram, M50 f2, Reala 100 (My Dad - note the digital camera around his neck)

Neither of us had the tenacity of this little tree below, so we turned around and headed for home.

Best to all,
Kevin

More Fuji Press 800. I bought half a brick from K100d last year, then went shooting at an auto show.

Thought I'd stick some recents up. Black and White and colour, much happier with the more recent efforts. I think I may actually be learning!

Pentax Program A, SMC Pentax A 35-70mm, Ilford XP4

Pentax Spotmatic F, Pentax Super Takumer 55m F1.8, Fuji C200

Interesting seeing what people think and the very different views on photography and subjects! Great Stuff!

Decided to learn Sunny 16 and zone focusing and shooting from the hip on a dead meter Spotmatic using Superia 800.
It was really fun and now I want to try less forgiving film just to really hone this skill as it is very useful...and fun!

And I liked this mistake, underexposed but moody.
