The K-01 Yellow Manual and Quick Guide are now available from the Pentax USA web site:

I am browsing the manual right now and it says there is a DOF preview button on the K-01. This is great. I dont recall my K-x has a DOF preview button....maybe there is but I am just an idiot not to find it.....

There is also interval shooting as well! I am impressed...again I dont think my K-x has this function.

So the K-01 is more than just a consumer grade camera!

K-x can indeed do DOF preview, via optical or digital preview.
For optical DOF preview, just assign Optical Preview to the K-x's Green button (pp 124-126 of the K-x Manual).

Ha! With the K-5 not only had I downloaded the manual (and installed it on my Kindle) but I had also purchased a compatible battery and had it charged & ready & a RRS L-plate.

Wosh i had thought of doing that with a battery. Don't think I'll need a RRS L-Plate for the K-01 though. (I guess you never know).

Strange thing: no any info about buffer in JPEG and DNG.
