Agree. Surely the D3200 can produce something better than that, with more contrast and less noise. That's likely an issue with the photographer.

I hope the same person does not do the full K-30 review.

I expect it was a photographer issue with the D3200.

With effort any camera can produce a crappy image.

I just thought it was funny.

any more positive reviews I'm going to have to start wanting it! and I'm still not sure about the front portion.
im glad its getting some exposure though! i haven't seen any other pentaxes get as much coverage.

While my decision of K-5 vs. K-30 is being heavily weighed on the reviews of the K-30, I'm not paying particular attention to this one. Between grammatical gems such as "peels of shots at 6fps" and "their performance on can be a little sluggish" and the two hasty, awful pictures of the product, it's obvious they put about 4 1/2 minutes into this post. They couldn't even be bothered to use a press photo of the camera for the lead shot.

So, while it says "The camera's autofocus locks on instantaneously", they also say with regard to entry-level DSLRs "If you drop them they'll break, and don't expect respond to your every desire."

Edit: I sent a tip to The Verge, hopefully they'll do a review. If a highly-trafficked tech site is going to review the K-30, at least let it be one where the writers can actually, you know, write.
