Firmware 1.01 / DNG: 26 frames to fill buffer

I just installed firmware 1.01 Latest K-5 Firmware Update : Software Downloads : PENTAX
Tried fast continueous shooting.
It did 26 frames before it slowed down, that is more than 20....
Modes: Av, ISO 200.
Memory card: Sandisk Ultra II 8 Gb.

I got to 24 as well, and I don't even have fast cards. 20 is probably the minimum, regardless of card speed.
