Excellent shots and thanks again for sharing this. I would agree your self portrait should be in "Time," it's that good. Please keep sharing and be safe.

Very excellent, and very interesting. You are a skilled shooter....gun and camera!

My youngest son was in Afghanistan two years ago.....I don't think he ever took a picture. It wasn't his favorite place, but he endured, though one of those roadside bombs almost got him and a couple of other Soldiers, but they were saved by being in the Generals armored vehicle at the time. He retired last Spring after 22 years...you be careful so you can do the same!

I can't express how much more personal these photos are than the ones published in magazines etc. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great pictures, they definitely have a big impact. I like the road into the mountains . . . beautiful composition. I hope your training will keep you safe, and your camera will keep you sane.

Thank you for your service, and for the pictures. What did the writing (graffiti?) on the school classroom wall say or look like? I've always found that interesting.
