I have a Vivitar 70-210 f/4.5 (not a Series 1) that I had to modify to fit my K10D. The mod was the same as described
here. While the lens works great on the K10D, it doesn't work on the K-r. In fact, I've gotten some VERY strange behavior using it. The mirror slaps twice, the photo doesn't save, then the mirror continues to slap with every button press. Until you turn the camera off and unmount the lens. I'm scared to do any further testing in case something is catching that may break the camera.
Editing for clarity: Because I know you're going to think I'm crazy. When this happened, every press of any button on the camera caused the mirror to slap. Up, OK, Info, didn't matter. I swear. Really freaked me out.
