There is nothing wrong with you sensor - asking this way I have to say there is something wrong with your eyes.
I guess that fountain is illuminated with modern LED light - blue LED light. LEDs do emit light only at a very certain light wave length - not like halogen light which is a mixture of different light wave length so our eye "thinks" it sees blue light.
The problem here is, our eye do not respond very well in the light wave area of blue light, or more technically it sees 450nm light quite badly.
In contrast to the human eye the sensor of your and mine K-r respond as good to blue light as is responds to green light. So let me say there is the light present you see on this picture, but your eye isn`t capable to sense the most of it.
The only possible reaction here is not sending back your very well functioning camera, but making the same thing like on every picture with too much light: step down some exposures and correct it later on in lightroom. There is no other way around that.
