Swift1 : Thanks for the info . I'm trying to sell my 645N+FA75/2.8 combo but if nobody bites I will get some extension tubes for sure .

Swift 1, try that shot with the 90-180 zoom at f/45 for better DOF. Also recommend using a diffuser to cut back on the shadows.

Thanks for the tips desertscape.
I don't have the 90-180 zoom and can't justify buying it right now for the amount of MF work I do so I will have to stick with what I have

Next time I will try using a diffuser.

I'm not familiar with the 645 lenses but to get that zoom in 67, I'd have to sell my nearly mint SMC 55, 90, & 135mm lenses.

Thanks, working with a large negative / large dynamic range / crap scanner (4490) is educational.
