What do "we" realy want?

I suggest to make a poll with severel things which some/we want.

When we have a good amount of people who answered the poll we can ask one of the "japanese guys" to email the "List" with its results to Pentax Japan in a nice, correct and well written Email.

Everybody has 5 votes for the people who can't decide what is "most" important

Well a faster PRIME III processor or dual PRIME II processor would also be a good thing.

yeah, i know that this subject has many outpots everywhere

But i think that i might be a good idea to get a good hind if somethings are really important to the users and which one's are just a mad man's idea

I would think that fast prime II oder 2x Prime II or Prime III what so ever means more FPS, so i would count this for that point on the list, but when we get a lot more ideas we can make it again with we have alle wishes in the list (up to 200 )

i would like k-mount uncrippled, at least on higher model, and availability of a split screen along with in camera support for correct metering with it (i think higher models from canon have this option).

DA fast prime (2.0 or faster) in the 24-28mm range

There is a gap in the prime roadmap in this range

Lets face it. No one knows what is going to be around in five years, probably not even the camera manufacturers. All I know is it will be amazing, look what was around 5 or 6 years ago and what is available now!
Lets just hope the technology doesn't take away the fun.

Would be nice to see more WR lenses, mainly the replacement of Pentax 50mm Macro.

What "we" want changes depending on which "we" we are talking to.

For this "we", here is my list in order.

Full frame
Bigger buffer (much bigger)
Faster tracking AF (and faster AF all-around)
Dual CF cards (SD cards too slow)
More focus points
1/250 sync (1/500 would be even better)
More FPS (9 or 10)
More fast usable zooms.

pentax dslrs have a "crippled" mount, this means that lenses without an A setting can only meter stopped down (using the green button for example). with slrs (apart from the ist* i think) you can see the metered values directly when you change aperture on the aperture ring, just like you do with the dial on the camera using modern lenses (that have at least A setting).
put this back on a small FF dslr with a split screen available, a good sensor and good AF, a big viewfinder, and a good jpg engine, and i don't need anything else!
