You guys are wrong, it's a vibrator with an integrated 360° camera. Nice close-ups in perspective.

Let's hope it's splash-proof .
Brilliant

IFA-TV

thankfully It looks a little slimmer than the "hammerhead" prototype.

400 USD ,, 400 Euro.

Looks interesting..... lets wait for a review

looks like a new camera concept after GoPro concept

after sporty camera like GoPro go wild,

I think it is new concept, 360 degree capture, is about Space,

while Lytro is about Depth.

They cooperated with Microsoft ("revolution in photography")?
Maybe the next Pentax K-? will run Windows 8.

Well it's first of all a smart phone connected camera, and they start with iPhone and add android later - no word of windows phones so far...

Personally, it doesn't appeal to me at all, but I'm hoping it will be a stepping stone for something better in the future.

It does need something to attach it to your helmet when skating to compete with gopro. Could be a winner if the right people get attrackted. I saw a bundle off gopro at the EC Bouldering last weekend. There is a market for such a camera as the Thetra 360!!!!!!!!!

At the very least, this is more innovative than this:

Nikon reveals LD-1000 LED movie light for 1 System and Coolpix: Digital Photography Review

I actually had to do a double take just to make sure that this is Nikon we were talking about!

Kinda cool actually, but the image quality isn't very good. Lots of aberration with pretty low resolution. If it was really high quality, it'd be a neat vacation camera.

(and in the last sample photo, the guy is using a Canon; way to go Ricoh.)
