That is a monster pack - there is a used-good condition one for about $10 less too.

I purchased the last "like new" Tenba 632-331. The "Used - Good, Item will come repackaged" one is still available for $93.91 w/FS.

Congratulations. Thst looks lie a great bag, and you sure got it for a terrific price. Don't forget to review it in the bag section once you get to know the bag well.

That's a huge bag. Fully loaded, like in the pic, it must weigh a ton.

That's why I post so many Deals here in this section. It's a very well regarded, and large, bag with lots of features but $400+ seems a bit crazy to me. Now, $100 or so for one.....
  • Capacity up to 500mm lens
  • Fits most 17 laptops
  • Water-repellent, dobbydiamond ripstop nylon shell an optimum combination of light weight and durability
  • Movable panels in both side pods create QuickAccess hatches directly into main compartment
  • Load compression straps reverse and convert to retention strap for luggage or utility cart
  • Rollerblade wheels
  • Full Backpack with padded straps and even some lumbar padding.
  • Holds 2 camera bodies with grips, 8-10 lenses, flash, and even capacity to hold a full sized Manfrotto Tripod.
  • Weather wrap
  • Weather proof zippers
  • Solid construction retractable handle
  • Side access pockets that gives you access to the main compartment
  • Detachable CF card wallet
  • And instantly converts to a standard carry-on luggage bag by a removable shell.

Thats the price for shooting supertelephoto stuff. I carried a 600mm around last summer and had a lot of fun doing it but my shoulders sure told me how then felt after. It sucks too when you get out there and you want another couple lens for other things and all the accessories to go with that style of shooting.

Well when you are transporting/protecting a $3-5K investment the couple hundred starts to make some sense.

I like the idea of the bag, but it just looks awful aesthetically, especially the olive one.

I get that. $400+ for a bag is still outrageous. There's as much nylon, zippers, and thread in that as any decent sub $100 backpack. The only difference is the little movable Velcro compartments that define it as a camera bag. The real question is are those little pieces worth $300? I think its just easy to gouge people on specialty items. Especially on specialty items meant to protect expensive stuff.

I guess it depends? For some situations, no, which is why I made this:

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/do-yourself/217074-super-telephoto-jump-bag.html

But then if I'm hiking or traveling long distances I may want the protection and comfort. Since my sewing/fabrication skills are not up to par I have to pay for it.

I have the medium one and it's a great backpack. But it is BIG. Just be aware of that. If the medium is big, the large must be huge lol. But it really is a great pack, very well made. But I'd never pay full price for it. I got it for $100.

On a side note, I have the silver one. But it is more grey than silver, so it looks nice. For some reason the pictures they show do not reflect the actual color. At least not for the silver.
