Almost looks like a typo to me- it probably comes with the DA L lens, not the WR one. You're not going to find the WR kit for that cheap.

Right, I guess pre moderation cases multiple posts... when I posted there was nothing about the deal, and both posts appeared almost at the same time...

I contacted Hunt's and they've confirmed to me that it is the WR lens. I've gone ahead and ordered, so I'll update here if it turns out to not be the case. I also asked if any colors are left in this kit besides black; the answer is no.

Also, my first post! I've benefited greatly from reading this forum the last few days, so I'm glad to be able to post something informative, even if it's relatively minor....

I just spoke to someone too. They confirmed it's the AL WR lens, brand new, USA model, full warranty, etc. I just bought a kit 10 days ago from Crutchfield for $699. Specifically chose Crutchfield because of their return policy, half expecting the price on these to drop.

The camera was just delivered. When I get home from work this evening, I'll post back on whether or not it's the WR kit.

Yep, mine is definitely a WR kit also. The box looks like it's never been opened, everything is sealed up, all accessories, warranty card, etc. Heck of a deal.

Same here. Pretty awesome. I've got the batteries charging; need something to distract myself while I wait!

And btw, this is the real WR kit - not a scavenged lens and body.

Exactly. Full kit, in the WR kit box. Don't know how they're selling them so cheap. If you're on the fence about buying one, I'd say go for it.

I was on the fence between K-30 and K-50, because thephoblographer's preview of the K-50 says K-50's AF is much improved in low lighting conditions, but this deal was simply too good to pass, from a Pentax authorized dealer, nevertheless! Many thanks to the OP for the deal post, and to Takumar55 and ecruz for confirming the kit is the 'real' WR kit box.
