pentax's gears are cheaper and cheaper since people are selling in order to switch to other systems.

The new Sigma AF 18-35MM F/1.8 DC HSM Lens for Pentax at $799 looks like a better deal IMHO.

Now I think I want one although I cannot think of an application (of mine) that requires such image quality. Looking at Lenstip did not help my budgeting decisions .....
