Hard to believe it launched at $800, isn't? It should have launched at this price to begin with!

Amen! I do wonder if this is a move like the $799 K-5 though? Is there a Q2 in the works do you think?

I hope they're developing a new camera, with 1080p/60 at least!

If they add wide and telephoto lenses (not of the "toy" series), I'll have no choice but to buy.

Here is the lowest price I have seen for a superzoom camera with GPS and 1080p60. It looks like Panasonic and Sony are the only ones with 1080p60.

Both of these are on the roadmap. A wide prime , preferably pancake, is essential for me and would make the Q a pretty nifty street camera.

Amazon has dropped the price further, to $380, for the black body with 01 prime lens. Maybe it's time to make my move...

Just got a used one from amazon at $330. I bought one at $800 but returned it... didn't think it was worth the $. It'll be fun as a P&S replacement and as fun screwing around with telephoto's.

Adorama is back up again to about $445. While searching Craigslist, I'm so surprised at how many people are selling these used for $500+.

Well, the pricing at Amazon and Adorama really reinforces that old adage - He who hesitates is lost!

Right! Well, sort of. A lot of these CL ads are people touting how much they're discounting it, based on when the Q first came out.
