Did you buy a 2nd Q? UPDATE

With the price as low as $189 in Australia and the US for the Q kit, I'm wondering how many people bought a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Q kit?

Well, I bit the K-01 Groupon deal ($300 w/ 40 XS) and the Q ($230 w/ zoom). I was torn between which to buy; the K-01 for better IQ or the Q for its small-ness. I purchased both, but told myself that I would play around with both for awhile, but I could only keep one. In the end, the K-01 won me over and the Q has now gone to a new home. Fun little camera, but the K-01 is more practical for me and I don't exactly need a camera like the Q to replace my P&S at the moment.

New poll! I thought I would only have one Q, then loved it so much I bought a second for a backup body, then a third for the lens and sold the body.
I have not considered the K-01, as I already have a K-5 that covers my APS-C needs.
The Q fills my compact mirrorless/extreme telephoto needs.

I bought two from members here splitting up their deal kits to get a lens (or another body). So I have Q Black / Q White / 01 / 02 / Q>K Converter / Tripod Mount / 01 Hood / 02-06 Hood and two Optio cases. The Converter and Mount are OEM. And a K-01.

And I now consider myself certifiably Qrazy.

It is? Where?
All my enquiries at the popular vendors are negative.
Where have I missed?

Am really tempted.....on the other hand, I would hope that a Q2 comes out, looking like the Q1 but fixing a couple of the nits I have with it (and with the Q10 - which ai find ugly), in which case I would regret having bought a 2nd Q

No really fitting option for me. I have two white Qs, both with the 01 prime. I bought the second one both as a backup when I drop the first one in a river or something, and in the hope that if I buy another one the replacement will turn out to be more desireable.

(And being in Sweden, they weren't as cheap as you USians get them.)

Second (& third) Q

I've a total of 3 black Q:s with 01 to all. Backup & insurance against scratches on the one I use.
If I have two mint Q:s at home, I won't cry as much when I scratch/dent/drop the working specimen.
That said, I'll keep the bodies, but I would be willing to swap one of my mint, unused 01 Primes
for a 02 Zoom, if someone's interested....
thanks/Erik

I bought the Q because a good 400 or 500mm was out of my price range (retired) and I have several old lenses I wanted to use on the Q to get me to and past that range. I have 2 great P&S and don't use the Q for that. I am still very happy with my Kr for anything up to 300mm. If my P&S were to die I might have to get a 2nd Q with a zoom but would need both 02 and 06. If anyone wants to trade a 01 for an 02 pm me.

I don't see a poll entry that fits me, but I may be a bit confused by all the possible entries.....

Bought my first Q to only use with the third party adapter while planning on selling the 02 kit lens.

After received that first Q, you could say I kind of liked it, but thought I should follow through with my original plan and sold the 02 kit lens.

Then wanted the prime lens - bought a Q kit with 01 prime, and sold the body from that kit. Now I have a black body and 01 prime lens.

Then bought the 06 zoom lens.

Then bought a second body only w/accessories so I would have one body for my adapted k-mount lenses, and one to use with the native lenses.

So in the end, have 2 black bodies, third party adapter, 01 and 06 lenses. Is there any entry in the poll for all that...??
