2331200HiddenHoneywell Spotmatic. Arrived in very good condition. A couple flecks of dust on the mirror or viewfinder. Installed a Wein cell battery and tested it against a light meter; close enough for government work. Used a Rikenon 1:1.8 55mm to test the first roll of color negative film. Came out very nicely exposed and sharp. Bought a SMC Takumar 1:1.8 55mm and will run another roll of film through it soon.Roberts Camera via eBay

2313626HiddenBought in box lot with another camera and several lenses. Had a Super-Takumar 50/14 attached, which has a loose filter ring. The only sign of serious usage is on the bottom panel, only scratches and scuffs, no dents. Battery lid is loose but stuck and won't easily open. I will report back on this issue. Mechanically, everything else seems to function as intended. Very clean on the inside.Marion, OH

1466089HiddenThis was originally purchased in the '60s by my father and I just received it yesterday.

It's in great shape, however I've replaced the battery with a new Weincell MRB400. Still the metering doesn't seem to be working.

On my first roll of film but everything seems to be operating correctly. We'll see once developed!

Still has original operating manual and serial number card along with the brushes. Not sure, it was my dad's camera.

1434284Hiddenbought as a parts camera, part of a two camera lot.won for 9.99 on ebay. The other camera is actually clean and in good working condition...This one looks bad has a filthy mirror, but the shutter works good and it had a good bottom plate and battery cover so my sp1000 is now complete. Has the old plate from the sp1000 to keep the mechanicals protected in the junk camera drawer.ebay

1411824HiddenThis body was offered as a used item whose film transport was totally blocked. After I got it I just removed the base cover readjusted the mirror spring cleaned the battery contacts & lubricated all gears end sliding surfaces with a minor amount of silicon grease applied with a tiny brush, then i closed the body again with those 4 screws and agitated the lever for almost 2 hours like a stupid idiot. Everything works flawlessly again now, also the meter decided to jump back to life, after spending a new 392 type battery. (to be inserted upside down unlike most SLR's)Jerusalem
