| 6158131 | Hidden | Well used in the past by a fire investigator, this SP F has considerable wear to the back. The hinge pin was bent outward at the top and bottom, but that was easily corrected. The light seals need to be replaced, and a little velvet seal strip along the hinge end of the body should take care of any leakage there as a result of the bent pin. The meter and shutter speeds appear to be accurate. The mirror bumper foam will need replacement as well. Came with an SMC Takumar 1.8/55 covered with a 1A filter. Only the mirror gets stuck sometimes at lower speeds… Comment regarding meter battery: Even though some people on the internet say that SPF's meter works perfectly with 1.5V alkaline (or other) battery because it has some kind of electronic circuit that adapts to the battery, it is not true. My SPF was metering very unevenly in different lighting conditions with the (new) 1.5V battery, whereas with THE Wein Cell MRB625 Zinc-Air 1.35V battery it meters just perfectly and shows exactly the same values as all my other verified Pentaxs KXs!
