Very very nice pic. One of the nicest I have seen with that lens.

Mine arrived yesterday. I'll post something as soon as I figure out how to keep my toes out of the frame.

Uncropped, no PP - just as it came out of the camera yesterday.

This is Hill Inlet, at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands, taken from the hill, and shot at 8mm, full auto exposure and auto focus on the K20D, in RAW. Aperture on the Mac used to load the RAW and export as JPG was the only "processing" done.

This one is using the 8-16 at 8mm, in vertical orientation, and overlapping by over 50% on each shot, for a stitched panorama:

BrendanPK managed to procure a loaner from Sigma for his annual East Coast Gathering. I had it on my K-7 for the the first half of the day, until MRRiley swiped it from me then he hogged it the rest of the day. Dang. Awesome lens. Definitely on my list to buy. After shooting it, 16mm just doesn't seem quite wide enough.

a good combo with this lens is either an 8-16 + 16-45, 8-16 + 17-50/2.8.

I would had it that way if only the DA* zoom doesnt make me feel nervous.
