Just spotted a discussion on mflenses.com about an interesting new lens coming from China. I doesn't look very attractive but the price does.

looks pretty decent IMO. has it's strong points like bokeh, contrast and punchy color. very good subject isolation. it has a pretty interesting aperture blade shape which could influence the way how OOF blur is rendered (not just OOF highlights). I see that it's a PK/A, so that would be of luxury and benefit. for that price, it is very good for those who missed out something at that focal length. IMO, it works primarily as a portraiture lens. kinda look different on how it renders compared to other 85.

although I don't like the actual user sample images that look like shit. I'm still waiting for any impressive portraiture work done by owners.

btw there's also talk about a 2/35mm and if I understood right it will be capable of 1:1 macro?
