Christmas Cactus stamens @ 1:2 and then 1:1 , Tam SP 90

The little red tip in the middle is around 3mm in size

I was knocked out just after seeing the first 2 photos by Ash - amazing,... then aliasant and frogfish , rense , yeatzee and so many more posting breath taking images. Its such a treat to view

Onwards we go.. Panagor 90 again

Slightly unusual shot ( from underneath ) of a typical UK garden spider. Couldnt get a close-up of the eyeballs that many folk get, becuase she was facing the ground, and there was a shed behind her. No room !

Tanner - some superb shots of the PM and Mantidfly !

Rense - beautiful shots - esp. the bee (wasp) (eating and burrowing).

JT - cracking shot of the 'butterfly' feeding in flight.

Rense, those are some beautiful images and truly inspiring! Which lens(es) did you use for those shots (esp of the bees)?
