Is it true?

I've heard that the final polishing of Pentax limited lens' are done on the thighs of virgins in a secret Shinto ceremony at a undisclosed temple in the remote mountains of Northern Japan.

What do you think?

You should be banned of this forum. Revealing the pixi-dust-secret on the intermnet.
Nobody would want a Nikon or Canon anymore. We're not an exclusive community from now on.

Quite true.

But they tried the same thing when SDM lenses were made. However, the motors got overused by some naughty virgins, hence the problem with some SDM lenses but not others and the poor Pentax community is divided between those who swear that SDM does not work and other who say that they have no problems whatsoever.

Ever wondered why they wanted to release consumer-level weather sealing ?
