DA 50mm F1.8 Quick Shift?

For those who have the lens, does the DA 50mm F1.8 actually have quick shift? That's what the specs indicate, but even then I'm having second thoughts!

I thought I saw a user review that said it had no quick shift. Let me find it...

It does not have a quick shift like say the DA 18-55 does. It can be focused with the focus ring while in AF mode unlike say the FA 50 f1.4 but there is some resistance in AF mode (much more that what I would expect from a QS system).

I got mine used from Deadwolfbones. Oh, and I'm starting the evaluation of it and will post a review in a few weeks in the data base. So far, it just a nice lens, sorta a cheap plastic build, but works great, even though it is a bit noisy on AF.

Pretty much the DA 35 F2.4 then

Also - few weeks is too long. Hup hup, get on it.
