I thought I would not buy any lens for a long time. But the temptation was just so great.....
In terms of macro lens, I already have a Tamron 90mm, a Sigma 50mm, and a Vivitar 135mm Close Focusing, but yesterday I couldn't resist a D-FA 100 2.8 Macro WR from a local CL listing. A quick test in the backyard this morning tells me that this is a keeper.
Here it is, with the original hood:
But if you know me, I love step-down adapter rings. A 49-28mm makes the lens even more compact, and provides better protection for the lens:
Test photos, nothing exciting but they tell me that I will be using this lens a lot. JPEG files are taken directly from the K-7, no post processing except for re-sizing.
