Just arrived today, brand spanking new!
Jumped through a few hoops to find a new one at a sensible price and B&H finally came through.
Paid $399 for this "juicy piece of glass" (see what I did there?). Used versions on ebay going for the same price or more, and Amazon has it listed for about $550.
Really digging B&H right now.

Anyway, blah, blah, blah... shot a quick few pics and I'm in love!

Excellent use of this fine lens, strangeboy. That is a pretty good price all right. I paid $299 about four years ago, but that's ancient history now.

One of my favorite lenses - I wish mine was new when I bought it but even used it still delivers the goods - Great shots too.. the rubber tree is my fav of the bunch.

That was my first AF prime, since then I replaced it with FA43, but i still consider FA35 to be a great lens. Actually lenstip site considers it to be the best of 35/2 lenses they have tested so far....

Ah... the 43 ltd. I wanted that or the 40, but I thought they would butt heads with my 50s, and I felt I needed a bit wider.
The 21mm ltd next on the list!

Amazing lens. I can tell you that, using it as my primary lens, for concerts and pretty much all duty. The only thing I'd consider replacing it with is the 35 1.4 from Sigma.
