Sigma 75-200 f3.8 AF - poor mans DA* 60-250

well, obviously it doesnt have the range or the weather sealing of the DA*, but there are some pros.
1. its 10% of the DA*-s price. Thats a big pro if you ask me
2. fully FF ready

the AF is good, the image quality is great. here are a few pics from my first trip (and first usage actually) with it. They do not fully represent the lens since its my first outing with it, but the image quality is great no sharpening done on the pictures. I'm just learning to use the colour sliders in LR
value for money, this is THE lens to have in K mount

It's hard to say from a picture peeping perspective, at web sizes, but these are certainly well composed and enjoyable images.

Nice shots!
What is it about seeing images, from a day out with a loved one, (using a camera) that I find so fun to look at?
The OP is from Croatia, a place I've never been to, and probably never will, but I can relate to the fun of the day.
I LOVE photography!!!!

I like the photos and have had a copy of that lens for a couple years. Great performance for the money and reasonable weight.

Consider the Vivitar series 1 70-210 also Though my 60-250 is leagues ahead.

The Sigma Autofocus lens is very high quality glass and performs very well. The Vivitar Series 1 did not give me as good results when I used it in my film days.
