Vivitar Series 1 28-90mm f2.8-3.5 - Thoughts?

Greetings all,

A local vendor is closing their doors and they are selling a Vivitar Series 1 28-90mm f2.8-3.5...any comments or reviews that anyone can give me on this lens will be very, very helpful. I will be using it on my K10D.

I currently have another Series 1 lens (19-35mm) and it is phenomenal...fast to focus, crisp photos...impressive for the cost. That's why I'm thinking of getting another Series 1.

I used to use one with my film cameras. It was very sharp up to a point....the point where I dropped it.
