Da 35/2.8 macro limited

Just recently decided to dedicated on DA lenses and forget about FF… After viewing several sample photos from K20D I conclude that this body is more than adequate for what I want to do with a camera. Moreover, Pentax offers a wide range of DA lenses to pick the right ones for you so there were no doubts that this is the right system for me. Anyways, one of the lenses I got is DA 35/2.8 Macro Ltd. I thought that that lens would make an excellent all around lens with the additional macro capability. Here are the first results:

I have to say that the lens almost never gets off my K20D...

Very cool I'm very happy with my DA40 and just ordered the 21 and 70. Someday when I have a lot of money I'll get a 35 myself.

Nice photos. The Da 35 is my next purchase and positive posts like these only confirm my decision. Look forward to seeing more photos from this lens

You now make me tempted to get this macro too. Wow, what a great series of artistic shots.

Cheese Cake... Yum

The image of the boy and cake is really special.

It takes a conscious effort on my part to swap out the DA 35 Ltd for something else when I reach for my camera. I always have to think twice, or more, before I go. It's a super lens. You will love the DA 35 Ltd.

Thank you all for your comments,

Mind that my copy of the lens is so sharp that I had to soften the 4th photo a bit....

This is quite normal, since DA 35 is not the portrait lens.

Sad thing about buying a 35 macro ltd as your first lens, you will never be satifyed with another lens !!! Got the 50-135 on friday, And I like it, dont get me wrong, But I miss all THAT that the 35 is.

Should have bought a crap lens first like the kit lens than uppgraded my way to the 35, but no, im stupid, first dslr and I buy the most awesome lens there is as my first lens. When Will I ever be happy again

Once I can afford to get the 35 I might not use the 40 anymore haha. But wait I think I'll use the 40 on the K-m everywhere hehe.

Note to self: Avoid this thread before LBA kicks in.....again!

It took all that I had to not buy this lens (which I really don't need) and spend more $$$ on the DA12-24 (which I do need). Not that need has anything to do with it....
