All shot with kit lens. I'm still in rookie phase of phtography. Don't know
much about PP. Shot in jpeg and edited slightly in picassa.

No one said "yea", but no one said "nay" either. So I went ahead and changed the thread title and added the original title to the top of the original post.

Here are two of mine, with the DA 18-55 MK II. The last one got accepted on the PPG.

I think it is a fair statement to say that Pentax does provide the best ''kit'' lens for there DSLR's. The lens that came with wifes D40 is like a toy.

Came across this one while responding to a challenge on 'another forum' - taken with the 18-55 mk 1, 18mm, on the DS in India. I'd never looked at it very seriously before, but I think it has a lot of charm.

A few from back when my K10D was still new...

Glass Frog Sculpture, Cambria, California

Neptune Pool, Hearst Castle, San Simeon, California

Roman Pool, Hearst Castle, San Simeon, California

(Wide open and hand-held, BTW...)

I have a whole slew of photos taken with the kit from before I started accumulating lenses. It is truly a nice tool and should be on my camera more than it is!

Steve

the closest thing I had to a macro lens for a while....... this lens simply obliterates every other kit lens I've tried.
