Samples (5)

And one shows visual proof <grin>.

This lens is everything I wanted it to be. And the close up lens included in the package is a great addition, and value. It gets plenty close enough for macro-like portraits.

To me this lens is better than the Nokton overall in the open aperture range. A bit more versatile as well.

Nice shots again. So where did you find this lens? And is the focus throw as long as the Nocton? Regardless, thanks for posting your views on this lens.

Carries this and the Nokton. (thank you on the shots)

The focus throw is about half of what the Nokton is. Just a different experience altogether.

Be nice if Voigtlander made an 85mm 1.8 for Pentax/Nikon (or Sony!).

issues focusing at all. Yet we are talking a manual focus lens here, you can rely on the AF meter to beep for you or... you can view 4x in live view, or you can add the 1.2x OEM53 eyepiece, .... there are several things to do to help aid in manual focusing.

I do not own a D60, nor would I.

This is an amazing lens that it renders crispy contrast and superb image glow to the images.

The bokeh could be better against certain surfaces. Ultimately, this lens renders more colour and edge sharpness even wide open.

Great lens

Portraits

This is what I bought this lens for. To render some very subtle contrast and bokeh that the average lens just cannot do. Here is a "serious" sample.
