Question: Super Takumar zoom 135-200, does it exist?

Has anybody heard of this lens? Was it ever made? It's not in the database and I can't find it on the internet. Nonetheless it's offered to me.... (without decent photos...).

Well, I googled the phrase super takumar 135-200 zoom and all I got was your post, so I'm guessing no, it doesn't exist.

But I could be wrong.

I think what's going on is the seller is looking at the lens hood for a 200mm f4 or 135mm f2.5 Prime Lens. The hood fits both of these primes and lists both on the side.

So, really we have no idea what lens it is or even if it's a Pentax. It does seem to have a metal takumar hood though. But no, it's not a 135-200 zoom.

Regards,
Mike

It might be a 200mm 1:3.5 lens. Non photo geeks sometimes cannot read these things as fluently as we do.

Yeah, this could be true too.

I think I have to ask for photo's, that will solve the problem, I guess....

Thanks all!

Good guessing X-man! Better than my guess by far. The lens looks to be in pretty good condition, Rense.

Your choice of beverages, at my place. It's only about 3,000 miles away - well worth it to see another Pentaxian.
