I no longer shoot with Pentax, but...

Thought you guys might be interested in seeing this photo. I recently had a chance to take some pics where there is normally very limited access... this is from the nose of a Global Hawk, serial number 001.

Thanks for sharing. Some guys have figured ways of using some of those Pentax TV lenses with their DSLR's here....if the global Hawk has the serial number 001, is that the first one?? or is that the serial number of the lens?

It was the first Global Hawk, #001. I don't recall seeing a serial number on the lens, but another photo shows that it was a TV lens, 12mm, f1.2.

The bottom lens actually has an f1 to f8 aperture but I never saw a manufacturer or focal length.

Looks like the bottom lens might have a germanium front element. Infrared camera maybe?
