Leica Summicron-R 1:2/35mm and K20D

So it is time to present next Leica in my collection. This time Leica Summicron-R 1:2/35. Before I presented

So now it is time for Summicron 35. It is very sharp at f2 and gives very nice bokeh. As all other Leica lenses gives "Leica colours" - personnaly I like it. Has nice build in hood. Weak point is that it is very sensitive to strong light. For sure Pentax SMC is much much better than Leica.

Wow, seriously good images

I am a fan of leica R lenses. Good value for the optical quality

Leica 35mm f2 is the lens quoted as king of bokeh

Beautiful!

thanks,
Summicron 35 is really very good - especially in close-up situations. I'm in the process of learning this lens and with each session love it more.

Last image is magic ... that's for sure.
I may look into some at a later date ... but at the moment I am too busy.

with leica lenses for lowest apperture I need to compensate +1/3 an than it goes down, it means for f4 it is -1/3 , for f5.6 -2/3, for f8 -1.
You can check exifs of my shots on pbase. After all it is not so bad because by this I know more or less what was the apperture.

I can confirm that this was the case with my old Pentax K10D, but when I use a K7 there is no need for EV compensation, it's just spot on regardless of the aperture.

If you'd like to know more about Leitax, I believe forums member Fenwoodian has done many conversions with their adapters.
