Which lenses are known to SDM fail?

I doubt the chart thing will work...this isn't a spreadsheet and when someone has a failure, the numbers won't get updated automatically.

In any case, DA 17-70's SDM motor died (while in storage) and now it has a new one. DA 300's SDM is still good (after around ten months). 55 SDM is still good but it's too early to judge.

My DA*50-135 has gone from a silent A/F, to now a scatchy/grinding A/F

Its time I think is just about up.

"sometimes"? Is it alive now? People in this thread have added it as a failure to the chart.

One year and no problems with the DA 17-70. It is used frequently.
