How you did it, including photos or never happened. I say photoshopped! ^^ ^^

I am definitely interested, how much hacking?

We should all buy up all of the good canon lenses and hack them up

Looks like an FD mount--so only about $600 on the used market!

The downside would be that the register difference is a few mm shorter, so you'd lose infinity focus. How far away can you focus it? For a portrait lens, you'd only need a few metres anyway.

Sweeeeet! I've been contemplating converting the ME-P 65mm 1-5x macro lens to K since it doesn't infinity focus and is manual focus anyway. The ~950 price is the biggest hitch!

Great lens, but even better camera. Congrats to you for making it happen, even if it's not what Pentax has in mind when they discuss "backwards" compatibility.

Every thing was doable until I figured out that it lacks and aperture ring which means it will require aperture to be set by the body. So all of the MP-E 65mm macro lenses may be safe from the cannibals!

Sweet! I have the same lens, the older S.S.C. Aspherical version (which is better regarded than the later "L" version shown here). I think I will wait for the Samsung NX10 before hacking anything. The portrait is great BTW, the 85/1.2 is indeed quite sharp.

The FD has a even shorter flange distance than the EF, let alone the K mount. I cannot picture this being pulled off without a corrective element in between to correct for infinity focus and still you need to worry about mirror slap. I dare not say it is impossible but the odds aren't good.
