Unless Pentax comes out with a firmware update it looks like 1080p25 AVI (Motion JPG) is the only full HD setting.

Streaming 1080p at any decent bit rate on the web is demanding enough let alone with an expensive (bandwidth wise) format like MJPEG. It has been transcoded and compressed. YouTube's default video stream is encoded in H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format, with stereo AAC audio at 3 to 5Mbits/s according to Wikipedia.

I am impressed by the lack of Jello. Really, its not just panning that causes jello, but its detectable with bobbing/jittering, I see none, even in the choppy waters.

Yes, looks nice. 1080p / 25 fps and fast line readouts to eliminate jello have kept me from immediately buying a K-x and I will continue to wait for more results from the K-r and K-5.

Some aliasing on sharp lines though.

That title is suggesting YouTube can deliver us 1080/25p at 81Mbit/s. Somehow I think it is more like 3 to 5Mbit/s
