New Pentax K7 - Dead pixel in video

Wondering if anybody has noticed any dead pixels when shooting video on their pentax?

I just noticed I had three dead pixels. I ran the pixel mapping function, it removed two but one remains... right in the center of the image.

Is it possible the sensor is getting hot? I checked some earlier videos I took and, I didn't notice any problems.

What's the firmware?

I just bought a K-7 a week ago, and it had a couple stuck red pixels, even after running pixel mapping. i was pissed.

Then i noticed the firmware is 1.00, so i updated it and ran the pixel mapping util again.

Problem solved, no more stuck pixels.

How do you check for dead pixels?
