I love it, but between my K100D and MX I think I'm good on cameras for now, and I thought this one might find an appreciative home with a fellow forum member. This is one of the older K1000's made in Japan, with a brass top pate, as opposed to the later plastic ones. Other than the fantastic hand finished kid skin, which really has to be held to be believed, I've put in new mirror foam and light seals. The meter works great, as do all shutter speeds. The top plate is in perfect condition, and there is just some normal light scuffing on the underside of the base plate. There is also a bit of normal paint loss on the black painted trim.
The photo from that thread doesn't do the color justice. These come closer, but a photo just doesn't convey the depth and luster of the finish.
$100 shipped in USA, slightly more elsewhere.
