For Sale - Sold: Nikon Coolscan V ED 9.5+

Nikon Coolscan V ED 35mm film scanner. $510 shipped in US.
Includes a 36 exp roll of Provia 100F and a Fuji mailer.

I purchased this scanner last summer expecting to be shooting a lot of slides. Didn't have the time and only ended up scanning 4-5 rolls. Includes all original equipment/box. As an added bonus I'll include ICC color profiles I made with Wolf Faust targets. They include one for Ektachrome, Agfachrome, RVP50, RVP RAP 100(F), and RDPIII/Sensia. This scanner completely destroys my Epson V500... as it should for the price

. I love it, but I'm selling my 35mm stuff and have moved to medium format.

I don't know Vertex but I've been using this model scanner I borrowed from a friend and it is indeed an awesome piece of equipment. If my camera budget wasn't destroyed I'd buy this, just no way I can afford it Vertex, sorry:-(.

No worries. If it scanned 6x4.5, I'd be keeping it myself! Scans of Provia/Astia/Velvia rival my K10D.

Long time no see . Yep , too bad it does not do 120 film . Though I'm sure it will be costing more and worth it , too. I have the 645N so I will pass on this fine machine . Good luck to you .How is the baby ? I still remember that Velvia slide from last year !

Heya! I've been lurking, just haven't posted in awhile. The baby is more like a small man now(at least in his mind

)! Hard to believe how fast he's grown!

Curious for now...Would you be willing to ship to Canada? How much extra.
Does it have a slide tray or cartridge or is it a single slide scan.

Yes I would be willing to ship to Canada. PM me your general postal code and I will give you more accurate shipping charge.

It includes a single slide adapter as well as a strip adapter for batch scanning a strip of 2-6 frames(positive or negative). Typically when I get slides developed, I ask for them uncut and unmounted. Then I cut them into strips of 6, batch scan 6(if all are keepers) at a time then archive into a binder. 38 seconds a frame!

For that you need the SF-210 adapter and the higher end Super Coolscan 5000. Not cheap! Thanks for looking anyway.
