This may very well be my favorite lens (at least currently). The color rendition is outstanding.

Same for me, it's a great little lens and the IQ is outstanding, but I just want to down-size my kit. What's the point of having a lens that isn't getting any use...

Unbelievable... Almost 1k hits and nothing serious... the market must be really down... if somebody haven't noticed... there are almost no bodies for sale... It seems everybody are holding on their stock...

I'd love to add this lens to my bag, I just don't have the scratch, but it'd really help to complete my kit.

If I had this I'd have 50, 100 and 135mm primes and then the 18-55 and 55-300 zooms. Maybe I'd still want to add something shorter in a prime, but this would be a nice addition.

I don't quite see how not having this lens is preventing you from getting the "must have" 50/1.4 and replacing your 18-55 with the 16-45... that would make an excellent kit to begin with... For all the other lenses you should ask your-self if you're really gonna use em...

Well, I have a 50/1.7 and I find it to be quite excellent for my purposes. As for replacing the 18-55 with a 16-45, I just don't have the moolah to do that right now. I almost ended up there though when I bought my k20d. I was thinking about going body only and getting the 16-45, but I found a great deal on the kit.

Well, take my advice and get the 16-45 whenever you'll be able to.. it's worth it. Not that the 18-55 is a bad lens... I have nothing against it except severe vignetting at the wide end... it's just that the 16-45 is so much better... Though the 18-55 is very compact in comparison...
