With some definite regrets, it's time to sell it! I only use it every 1-2 years, so it needs a better home - hopefully you'll be the person to give it some better quality time!

The following items are part of this sale:

1. Pentax FA* 80-200 F/2.8 lens with power zoom function, excellent condition. Glass is flawless, front and rear.
2. Original FA* 80-200 F/2.8 box in very good condition (one corner taped - otherwise it looks like a new box). I do not recall getting a registration card.
3. Original Pentax S120-230 case in excellent condition.
4. Lowepro 4 lens case - like new. It's a padded slip-lock lens case – it will hold the lens with the hood reversed. MSRP is around $35: Lowepro Lens Case 4
5. Tiffen 4 filter pack with folding pouch: UV, 812, Circular Polarizing Filter, Enhancing filters. Value is approx. $160: Tiffen 77mm Deluxe Enhancing Kit in Camera Lens Filters at JR.com. A similar kit at Adorama can be found for $125: 77DIGEFK Tiffen 77mm Digital Enhancing Filter Kit, With Enhancing, Polarizer, 812 & Digital Ultra Clear Filters

The only significant marks are from normal usage on the foot of the tripod collar. There are a couple of minor dust specks that DO NOT affect image quality. Power zoom works correctly, optics are excellent, aperture ring moves easily. The MF/AF clutch is smooth, as is the PZ/MZ ring. This lens is has exceptional build construction and should readily last a lifetime.

There are no issues with this lens.

Background on why this lens is unusual/rare:
Originally owned by a Virgin Trains staff photographer, this lens has some significant history behind it. It has photographed the Queen of England, the Duke of Westminster, and multi-billionaire Richard Branson. It was used to photograph the inauguration of the takeover of the British Virgin Trains system by Richard Branson.

Images taken with this lens include many of the promotional images for Virgin Trains as well as newspapers. He is the original owner, I am the second owner.

I can also ship as quickly as you wish - I suspect the package would weigh around 7-9 pounds once I've carefully packed everything. I am estimating shipping at $20-$25 for ground shipping + insurance within CONUS. I will ship worldwide and you are responsible for shipping/insurance costs.

Thanks David and that FA* 250-600/5.6 lens is paid for although it exhausted my savings fund. I really don't use the FA* 80-200/2.8 much and the funds go towards a new Gitzo 3541XLS or Gitzo 5541LS - that's running $850 and $925 respectively. Plus the Wimberley WH-200 has to be purchased - normally that's $595 MSRP.

I'd rather someone use it more than I would and perhaps I'll pick up a similar focal length (70-200, etc.) sometime next year.
