The XR Rikenon series from Ricoh are similar to Pentax's M series, although with a little more plastic. Aperture control is all manual and there are no Ricoh pins to get stuck. These are K mount lenses. Both are high quality manual focus primes delivering very nice IQ. The 35mm is a nice normal lens, and I like the images it produces distinctly more than the FA 28/2.8 in similar settings. The 35-70 I found more practical than the M 35-70 (f/2.8-3.5) because of its macro mode (at 35mm) allowing for close-ups. This makes it quite handy for a walk-around lens. It is perhaps a little less contrasty than similar Pentax glass, but this can be boosted easily in PP. Both lenses have a few external marks of use, but glass clear of haze, fungus and scratches - just a few dust spots, especially in the zoom. Mechanically the 35mm is basically perfect, while the zoom has a slightly loose zoom ring and the aperture ring turns a little stiffly, but works just fine.

If you find the condition other than as described, I am happy to refund your money upon return within a reasonable time frame. These are nice lenses, but I never use them, so I would rather they went to someone who will use them properly. If you have any questions, please ask. Reasonable offers will be entertained, but a full price offer will take 'em.

Now, free Ricoh XR-1 35mm SLR with lens purchase! If desired, that is. The XR-1 is a pretty sweet all-manual film body, very similar to the KX with aperture and shutter speed information in the viewfinder, DOF preview and mirror lock up, even a multiple exposures button. The color scheme is all black and looks sharp - I will get more pictures up tomorrow.
